Group settings let you organize user accounts into groups. Assigning a role to a group also configures the permissions available to the users who belong to that group.
For the concept behind permissions and how groups work, also see About the Relationship Between User Accounts, Groups, and Roles.
You need the following permission to view this setting:
User and Group Management > User and Group View
You need the following permission to create, edit, or delete this setting:
User and Group Management > User and Group Edit
You cannot assign a group within another group.
Viewing groups
Click Group Settings in the menu to display the list of groups.
Click [⋮] → View details on the group you want to check to see its settings.
Creating a new group
Click Group Settings → Add New Group in the menu to open the dialog for creating a new group.
Set the group name and the roles and users to assign to the group, then click Create.
At this point, you can assign users later, but you must select at least one role. You can create and manage roles from Role Settings.
Reference: Role Settings
Instead of creating each user account by hand, you can enable automatic sign-up. When a user whose email address belongs to your organization's domain logs in for the first time, ZUNDA ID creates the user account automatically and adds it to the group selected in Auto Signup Settings.
For detailed steps, see Auto Signup Settings.
Editing a group
Click [⋮] → Edit on the group you want to edit to change its settings.
After editing, click Save to save your changes.
Deleting a group
Click [⋮] → Delete on the group you want to delete, or click Delete on the edit screen, to delete the group.
Deleting a group removes its role and user assignments.
That covers group settings.
